Our take

Mishiguene brings Jewish diaspora cooking into a contemporary Buenos Aires restaurant. Founded in 2014 by chef Tomás Kalika and Javier Ickowicz, it revisits recipes carried through families and migration, drawing on traditions from Europe, the Mediterranean and the Middle East.

Kalika connects that approach with memories of Jerusalem’s markets and his Jewish-Porteño family kitchen. Make the Lafinur restaurant the destination for the meal, and consult its current menu when reserving. This is the restaurant address, separate from Café Mishiguene.
