Build an East London afternoon around a single exhibition, then follow Whitechapel High Street at your own pace. Free displays sit alongside one paid exhibition each season.
The gallery spaces are currently closed for the changeover and reopen on 7 October 2026; the café and bookshop remain available separately. Standard paid-show admission is £16.50. Thursday evenings offer pay-what-you-can entry from 18:00. Check the selected exhibition and holiday notices before travelling. The entrance photograph dates from August 2014.
