Follow the connections between the organic and the engineered. Mascini’s project brings electrical cables and plant forms together through electroforming, a process that deposits copper onto other materials. It is a focused way into questions about energy and the relationships between living systems and technology.

The exhibition runs from 12 September 2026 to 17 January 2027. Admission is free; the Hammer does not require an advance reservation for individual visits. Monday and the museum’s published holiday closures are excluded from this schedule. The cover is an archival 2012 museum photograph taken before its later expansion, not an installation image.
