Look beyond an object’s arrival in a collection. This exhibition examines Earl Stendahl’s market-making and the damage that demand for antiquities brought to archaeological sites in Mexico.

On view 23 June–18 October 2026 in Research Institute Gallery I at the Getty Center, with English and Spanish presentation.
