A place worth knowing

Chapultepec’s zoo combines animal habitats with environmental education in the park. General admission is free, and programmes such as Azoómate explain enrichment, species and conservation work through activities and talks.

Plan a focused route instead of trying to cover every enclosure. Ask about the day’s educational activities, follow visitor notices and use the designated areas for food and drinks.
