Make one corner of the Marais about a writer’s world. The museum on Place des Vosges brings Victor Hugo into the frame of an afternoon in the neighbourhood, with the current architecture exhibition connecting buildings, drawings and writing.
This is not currently a free permanent-collection visit: the museum says exhibition admission applies throughout the building. Its official pages disagree on the exhibition’s closing date, so check the linked programme and ticket office for the day you want to visit. Last entry is 17:15. The 2022 exterior photograph is a view of the building, not the current display.
