Notes from the cityBangkok

A Bangkok day with room to change your mind

Start with one place you want to be. Keep the rest flexible, with a few practical checks before leaving.

Give the day an anchor, then leave some of it unwritten. A particular exhibition, a museum or a meal can be a better starting point than a long list of places to pass through.

Check the individual place, not just the district. A gallery building and the exhibition inside it can have different ticket rules; restaurant branches can keep different hours. A photograph tells you something about a place, but it does not tell you whether that room is open today.

Use the date and source links on each listing to check the practical part, then choose a second stop only if you want one. A change of plan can be the point of being out in the city. The linked records below offer a few places to begin; this is a planning note, not a route with guaranteed travel times.

Follow your curiosity.
