Bang Nam Phueng grew from a community project to sell local agricultural produce. Its canal-side stalls bring together prepared food, fruit, plants and regional products in the green riverside area of Phra Pradaeng.
Make lunch and browsing the centre of the visit, with time left for the surrounding neighbourhood. Despite the floating-market name, much of the shopping takes place along covered walkways beside the water.
