A place worth knowing
Let one work hold up the rest of your plans. MALBA makes a good centrepiece for a Palermo afternoon, especially if you leave yourself time to follow a gallery visit with a slower walk outside.
Regular hours are Thursday to Monday 12:00–20:00 and Wednesday 11:00–20:00; Tuesday is closed. Standard adult admission is ARS 14,000, or ARS 7,000 on Wednesdays. Cinema tickets are separate. For its anniversary, entry on 21 September 2026 is free.
The museum closes at 18:00 on 24 and 31 December, and closes entirely on 25 December and 1 January. Check current ticket conditions before your visit. This listing is for the Palermo museum, not Malba Puertos. The exterior photograph dates from March 2020.
