Paris: gardens and small museums
A sculptor’s studio, a writer’s house and a botanical garden: three ways to leave the busiest museum circuit for a while.

Choose one area rather than trying to turn these into a race across Paris. Zadkine makes sense for sculpture and an intimate setting; Balzac is the literary choice in Passy; the Jardin des Plantes gives you an outdoor visit with optional museums around it.
The admission rules differ. Read each place’s details before leaving, particularly at Maison de Balzac during exhibitions. Brasserie Lipp is a separate Saint-Germain dining suggestion when you want to extend a Left Bank day.
Musée Zadkine
Start here for a compact sculpture visit that moves between studio and garden.
Maison de Balzac
Choose Passy for a writer’s house and time in the surrounding streets; check exhibition-period admission.
Jardin des Plantes
Give the outdoor garden its own time before deciding whether to add a paid indoor attraction.
Brasserie Lipp
A Saint-Germain table for extending a Left Bank outing into a meal.
