Let the scale of the house set the pace. This is a place to think about the working life behind a book, then step into the garden before returning to Passy. Pair it with time in the neighbourhood rather than crossing Paris for a hurried stop.
Admission changes with the programme. The permanent collection and garden are free outside exhibition periods; during exhibitions the museum charges admission, currently €9 for a standard adult ticket. Check the museum’s programme before planning a free visit. The cover shows the house in 2020.
