Autumn nights at Gyeongbokgung
Go back to the palace after sunset. The announced autumn night season runs on selected evenings through 2 October.

Gyeongbokgung Palace
Go through Gwanghwamun and let the courtyards set the pace. The palace is a different experience in daylight and after dark.

A place worth knowing
Take the main approach slowly, then leave space for the smaller courtyards beyond it. A palace visit works well with a meal in Seochon or an afternoon at MMCA across the eastern side.
Regular adult daytime admission is KRW 3,000, with exemptions listed by the operator. The palace normally closes on Tuesdays. Closing time is 18:00 in March to May and September to October, 18:30 in June to August, and 17:00 in November to February; last entry is an hour earlier. Holiday arrangements can differ. The autumn night programme has its own dates and ticket.
