A place worth knowing
Let a single exhibition be the reason for a detour from the river. The building offers a different pace from the promenade, but a visit depends on the exhibition calendar.
The current programme lists the next exhibitions from 31 October 2026. Do not assume access during the changeover after the 20 September exhibition closing. During exhibitions, public visiting hours are Wednesday–Sunday, 11:00–19:00, with last entry at 18:30. Tuesday is a members’ day, not a general public opening.
Exhibitions are free. Weekday visitors can walk in; weekend and holiday visitors may reserve priority entry through the museum’s WeChat mini programme or queue on site. The cover is an archival 2010 building photograph.
