A place worth knowing
The permanent route is organised around Home, Cosmos and Odyssey, with further areas devoted to astronomy in China and planetary exploration. Its location near Dishui Lake calls for more travel time than a central Shanghai museum. Check admission, screening and observation arrangements separately before setting off. This is the modern Lingang astronomy museum, not the historic observatory museum on Sheshan Mountain.
