A place worth knowing

Zoo Palast carries the history of West Berlin’s film premieres into a cinema visit beside the Zoologischer Garten district. Opened in 1957, the listed building was the Berlinale’s main venue for decades, and its large auditorium remains central to its identity.

Make the room part of the choice when booking a film. Check both the auditorium and the language version listed for the session, particularly if you want an original-language screening.
