Begin on Avenida de Mayo, then walk towards Palacio Libertad for the afternoon exhibitions. The reserve is a further outing rather than the next door: allow a taxi or a longer walk through Puerto Madero. Start early enough for its gate times, and skip the reserve in poor weather or when access is restricted. Wednesday to Sunday best fits the cultural centre.

Reserva Ecológica Costanera Sur
Continue to the reserve only if there is enough daylight and it is open. Allow time to reach an entrance.
