Start around St Pancras with the British Library and Wellcome Collection, then let the route drift south towards the rooms of Sir John Soane’s Museum. St. JOHN makes Smithfield the dinner destination, with fabric nearby for a much later change of pace.
These are separate chapters of a long day, not a continuous museum sprint. Check exhibition hours and take a break before dinner. fabric’s nights have their own tickets, identification rules and opening times. The British Library has a recorded closure on 26 and 27 September 2026; selecting either date removes that stop.
