Free core science galleries, a garden in Exposition Park and a UCLA museum. Build around one part of the city instead of spending the day crossing it.

For an Exposition Park day, combine California Science Center with the Rose Garden when it is open. For a Westwood day, make the Fowler your museum stop. These are two distinct plans: allow for Los Angeles travel times rather than squeezing both into a short visit.
Admission is free for the core visits listed here, while parking, IMAX and other extras can add costs. The Rose Garden closes for winter maintenance, and Endeavour is currently off display at the Science Center. Check the linked place details before travelling.
