A place worth knowing
Treat the garden as time between plans rather than another collection to complete. Take a short walk among the beds or choose a place to sit before going back indoors. Flowers change with the season; the archival cover from May 2008 is not a forecast of current blooms.
The city lists opening from 08:30 until sunset, with an annual maintenance closure from 1 January through 15 March. General entry is free; parking and reserved private events are separate. Check park notices before a special journey, especially in winter.
