A place worth knowing
The first section makes an outdoor counterpoint to a museum morning. Follow a path towards the lake, stop in the shade and leave the next attraction for another day if the walk is enough.
The forest’s conservation organisation lists this section as open Tuesday to Sunday, 05:00 to 18:00. Public park entry is free. Museums, boats and other attractions have their own hours and charges. The map pin marks the first-section lake area, not every entrance to the wider forest.
