A place worth knowing
Give this museum a few unhurried rooms instead of a checklist. The collection’s domestic setting makes a good companion to a walk beside Central Park.
Adult admission is $30, with timed tickets recommended. Only children aged ten and older are admitted; ages 10–18 visit free. Wednesday afternoons have pay-what-you-wish arrangements. Selected first Fridays run later, but those are separate programmes. The Garden Court photograph is from April 2019, before the recent renovation.
