Why make time for it

Look at how a landscape is built: the near edge, the distant horizon, a patch of weather that changes the mood. This exhibition is a reason to spend time with individual prints rather than hurry between famous views.

The show runs in Honkan Room A from 29 September to 20 December 2026. Standard adult admission is ¥1,500; advance adult tickets are ¥1,300 through 28 September. The exhibition ticket includes the museum collection on the same day. Advance reservations are not required, though busy periods may involve a wait.

The works rotate across three parts, so consult the official list if a particular print matters to you. Late sessions, Monday exceptions and maintenance closures are included in our dates. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing. The cover is a photograph of the museum entrance, not an exhibition artwork.
