Begin with a manageable walk on Tempelhofer Feld, then use public transport to reach Markthalle Neun. These are different parts of Berlin, not neighbouring addresses. Buy lunch in the hall before continuing towards the East Side Gallery and the Spree.
Berghain is an optional late finish, only when its actual programme fits your plans. Leave a substantial break after the outdoor afternoon and keep a backup for the night: entry is not guaranteed. The field gates change with the season and the ordinary market is closed on Sunday. You can end the route at the river and still have a complete day.
