An elephant gate and a climb of 73 steps lead to the Buddhist House above Frohnau. Built for Paul Dahlke’s community in the 1920s, the complex brings a temple, library and garden together on a quiet hillside.
The steps matter when planning access. Visitors are welcome, but this remains a place of religious practice; choose a quiet visit or look for an announced talk, tour or meditation session.
