A place worth knowing
This is a working food hall, not a tasting checklist. Choose a few things you actually want to eat, look at the displayed prices and leave time for the neighbourhood beyond the doors.
Entry to the ordinary market is free; purchases and meals cost extra. Door hours begin at 08:00 Monday to Saturday, but most market trading starts at noon, or 10:00 on Saturday. Thursday has a later evening programme. Sunday is normally closed. Individual stalls and special events keep their own schedules.
