Move from the public image of an artist to the people and moments around him. This display brings together Polaroids from 1972–73, including informal portraits, travel and domestic life.
On view from 30 April to 19 October 2026, during the Whitney’s public opening hours, with Tuesdays excluded. Standard museum admission applies, with the museum’s separate free-entry times and age conditions. The 2015 venue photograph does not reproduce the photographs in the exhibition.
