A place worth knowing
A park does not need to take a whole afternoon to earn its place in one. Use Bryant Park as a pause between indoor plans, with time to sit instead of immediately crossing it. Lawn access and seasonal installations vary; the cover is an archival summer view from 2009.
The published schedule changes with the season: 07:00–22:00 January–April and October; 07:00–23:00 May–September; in November–December, 07:00–22:00 Monday–Wednesday and 07:00–midnight Thursday–Sunday. New Year’s Eve closes early, with the exact time to be checked. Weather and maintenance can also close the park. Entry is free; food, rentals and some activities cost extra.
