A place worth knowing
A museum visit does not have to become a tour of everything. Pick an artist, a medium or a floor and give it your attention. This listing is for MoMA in Manhattan; MoMA PS1 is a separate destination in Queens.
Standard adult admission is $30, including special exhibitions. Free Friday evenings are conditional on New York State residency and advance reservation; they do not make everyday admission free. Galleries begin closing around 15 minutes before the building. Thanksgiving and Christmas are closure days. The cover is a historical exterior photograph, not a view of current installations.
