Concerts, ballet, opera and contemporary dance share a large arts complex in Seocho, with distinct halls and their own programmes.
Choose a performance first, then check the hall: Seoul Arts Center is a complex rather than a single auditorium. The Concert Hall, IBK Chamber Hall, Opera Theater, CJ Towol Theater and Jayu Theater accommodate different scales and forms of performance. Hangaram Art Museum and the calligraphy museum add exhibition visits to the site.
For an evening concert, arrive early enough to locate the right entrance and collect tickets. The official directions recommend public transport: Nambu Bus Terminal station on Line 3 is the closest option, with a walk from Exit 5 or a short ride on local bus 22. Each event has its own admission age, seating, price and late-arrival policy. A venue visit does not include entry to a performance.
